 The New Africa Fund (NAF) has announced its 2025 Africa Impact Fund (AIF) Grant Program, inviting African civil society organizations (CSOs), community based groups (CBOs), and social enterprises to apply for transformative support. This year’s expanded program combines direct funding with capacity-building initiatives, addressing critical gaps in sustainable financing for African changemakers.  

Program Highlights

1. Venture Philanthropy Grants  

   – Financial awards for scalable projects in education, healthcare, climate action, and economic empowerment  

   – Typical grants range from $5,000–$50,000 (varies by project scope)  

2. Africa Impact Fundraising Support 

   – Exclusive training on donor engagement and digital fundraising strategies  

   – Fiscal sponsorship for financial management and credibility enhancement  

3. Free Expert Webinars

   – Recorded sessions available (including June 27 informational webinar)  

   – Practical guides on proposal writing and impact measurement

Eligibility Criteria

– Registered African NGOs/CBOs  

– Africa-based social enterprises  

– Organizations with at least 1 year of operation  

❌ Excludes: 

– Individuals

– Organizations without proof of registration
