Fifteen African Tech Startups Selected for Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa, Including Ethiopia

Google has announced the 15 technology startups chosen for the latest cohort of its Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa program. The initiative, now in its 10th cohort, supports high-potential startups across the continent by providing mentorship, technical resources, and networking opportunities.  

This year’s cohort features startups from Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana, and Senegal, showcasing the diversity and innovation emerging from Africa’s tech ecosystem.  

Ethiopian Startup Joins Prestigious Program

Among the selected startups is AfriLearn (Ethiopia), an edtech platform enhancing digital education. This inclusion highlights Ethiopia’s growing role in Africa’s tech innovation.

7. NextAI (South Africa) – AI-powered business automation tools.  

8. OneHealth (Nigeria) – Healthtech for pharmacy and diagnostics access.  

9. Presto (Uganda) – Agritech optimizing poultry farming.  

10. Raenest (Nigeria) – Fintech offering cross-border payroll solutions.  

11. Ridelink(Uganda) – Logistics platform for cargo and transport.  

12. Rivia (South Africa) – AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.  

13. SaaS Africa (Nigeria) – Cloud-based enterprise software.
