International Business Forum 2025 Set for July 23-24 in Addis Ababa to Strengthen Turkey-Africa Trade Relations
Addis Ababa, July 15, 2025
The International Business Forum 2025 will take place on July 23-24 at a premier venue in Ethiopia’s capital, bringing together business leaders from across Africa and Turkey to establish direct trade partnerships and explore new investment opportunities.
The two-day event, organized by WCI Forum, aims to connect African importers directly with Turkish manufacturers across key sectors including textiles, construction materials, agricultural technology and consumer goods. Over 1,500 participants are expected, including 52 confirmed Ethiopian companies and numerous trade delegations from across Africa.
A highlight of the forum will be the Sudan Investment and Trade Panel, which will examine emerging trade corridors between Turkey and African markets. The event will showcase successful case studies including a $2 million export deal by Turkish company Eternity to African markets.
For Ethiopia, the forum represents an important opportunity to build on its $400 million annual trade with Turkey while positioning Addis Ababa as a hub for international business exchanges. Local SMEs will gain direct access to Turkish industrial equipment and technologies.
The program features innovative networking formats including AI-powered business matchmaking and digital catalogs of Turkish products available for immediate order. Side events will allow for informal networking at cultural venues across the city.
Registration remains open via the official forum website for both buyers and exhibitors. The event will run daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at a central Addis Ababa location to be announced shortly.
Industry analysts anticipate the forum could catalyze significant new trade flows while supporting Ethiopia’s industrial development goals through technology transfer and joint venture opportunities.
